Do you 'crash' or get stuck on a black loading screen with the UI overlay still being, present but not 'active', essentially forcing you to close the application?

Then this simple fix may help.


Change the map first. Then try to load into multiplayer.

You may also test whether your game will 'crash' or successfully load by clicking on "CREATE PRIVATE ROOM." If it does nothing, you will 'crash' if you try to "JOIN PUBLIC ROOM," but if it loads you into your private room, then you're good to join public rooms. This way, you can avoid restarting the game.

I have messed around with it and this does seem to work every single time. Not sure why, but you just can't load into multiplayer from within the map you first loaded into.

i think you have to change to an official map for this to work, if you load another mod map it will continue to have the infinite loading black screen bug.

Wow it actually worked, I had like 10hrs gameplay working completely fine, never had a loading issue in the many times I played Modded Multiplayer, I installed a few more Boards, Trucks and Wheels the next day it wouldn't load any Multiplayer at all, searched google it always said, yep your mods are broken, so slowly went through deleting all the mods, which still did not work at all, I tried completely reinstalling the game, still didn't work, uninstalled again and tried installing onto my M2 drive and still wouldn't work. I really don't understand how this problem came about, as I highly doubt it was a few Downloaded Textures (I only downloaded Clothes, Boards, Trucks, Wheels and Tape, presumed only to be Textures not Scripted Mods) that completely destroyed the game as it worked fine the night before it broke the next day (no updates to the game as far as I know) and it broke for 4 days straight, trying atleast 4-5 times a day trying to get back into the action, Yet all in all it does seem like the game is now broken when it comes to Joining a MP session from a non-official map (in my case I was loading the Hud Land and of 4 days trying it was never able to successfully load MP, which is strange because it was fine before the first time it broke then that was it, it wouldn't load again) as I always either loaded from Hud Land or Primitive (my 2 favourites) but the moment it broke it wouldn't load from any map besides official maps.
Hopefully all this info can either help someone else with their problem or make the devs fix the issue :)
