SKATER CONTROL QUESTION (Regular VS switch)

This is make or break for me..
is there skating backwards in this game or is it 'always forward'??

explained in better detail~ In SKate3 you would be skating goofy and bust a 180 & instead of still being goofy footed but going backwards(Fakie) you would just become regular footed going forwards...
I appreciate anyone who read my post and esp if someone answers my question...

This allows you to edit it to your liking. For example I wanted the backfoot to always do the pop by pushing down with the right stick and the front foot pop with pushing up on the left stick and I can achieve that with tweaking settings.

In this game if you are goofy and do a 180, you will still be goofy, but the controls never change, you have you imagine that your joystick also rotates. To understand it better i would recommend you to grab a joystick and do a 180 as your character would.

Now, the controls would be these:

 Goofy
ollie : pop LJ down
nollie : pop RJ up

Goofy switch :
switch ollie : RJ up
fakie ollie : LJ down 

Regular
ollie : RJ down
nollie : LJ up

Regular switch :
Switch ollie : LJ up
Fakie ollie : RJ down

if you ride fakie and wanna do switch ollie you would input a nollie. just like irl. so i hope that answers your question.

Yeah that's what really confused me. I ride goofy, so when I'm fakie my left foot is on the nose. When I want to switch ollie my right foot is on the tail so I was expecting to use the right stick DOWN to switch ollie ingame. I'm kinda used now to pulling it UP instead to switch ollie but it still doesn't make much sense for me. :D

just keep in mind that its left foot right foot. not front and back foot. that saved me from messing up my mind xD. have fun
