Soundtrack on release?

When the game comes out in 2 weeks, will it have an official soundtrack? Or will they atleast let us import our own music into the game? The classic "put on Spotify in the background" can only work so well.

as long as it isn't Trap, Dubstep, Techno, Hip-Hop, Metal, or Country I'll be fine

edit: actually Country would be the most tolerable of those

Yep, it was just released today. We really wanted the soundtrack to reflect skateboarding culture, as well as pay homage to some of the artists that provided the soundtracks to some of the most influential skate videos of all time

You can never please everyone. Even the big publishers that have a lot of money to throw at the soundtracks in their games can't; there's hardly any music tracks in Skate 3 that I like.

I reserve judgement until I've heard this game's soundtrack though because the only artist I've heard of there is Future Islands and a quick Google of some of the others revealed a few tracks I don't mind. Float On (Modest Mouse) is a song I've heard before but I never knew who it was by. I wish we knew the actual tracklist!

Yeah, there is the option to turn the music volume down/off while leaving the skating SFX on if you want to play your own music or just skate without music 👍
