Fast travel?

Huh? Why do i have to pay now for fast travels in my own ♥♥♥♥ing boat? The fast travel without any costs was a big relief because of the back and forth traveling with the boat. I'm sure after the update there were no costs involved in fast traveling.

EDIT: This makes fast travel useless if you do not have enough money. I think i'm done with game. :(

If you have zero gold, it cost zero gold to fast travel. Price is on a scale model.

I prefer not to pay for traveling in my own boat. I was happy with the no cost solution. Why they changed it again is beyond me. :(

I think they made it more expensive so people actually use the boat more again. Sailing around is a big part in Summer in Mara but players only fast travelled instead of using the boat. At first I was annoyed as well but I've got used to it and think this is a very good solution! Only pay when you have to travel far and sail if it's close

I finished the game before it even became a thing, I only used "towing" service as fast travel to Qalis, later I had so much gold I didn't even care about it, I abused it as traveling everywhere would take me 2-3x longer.

I get the logic behind balancing it, but the whole idea of fast travel is to save players time. If the time saved is offset by having to aquire more resources, it defeats the purpose of fast travel.

They sold the game with a promise of 30 hours playtime. With fast travel that amount gets cut in half, at least. Gotta do something to slow players down.

I wish I could manually sail back and forth and not have to spend any money. I mean, it would be nice if I could either sail myself (free) and save money or use coins (fast travel) and not have the game force me to use my few coins.

Fast travel is kind of waste of gold because if you chose to not fast travel you can pick up loot crates and collect animals you need.

I'm not sure what you mean? You can manually sail anywhere you want. I rarely use fast travel, just because I find the sailing kind of relaxing, and also fun to smash through barrels on my way by.
