Gunpowder Barrel

Where can I find barrels of gunpowder? I have spent hours looking around on islands and shops,does anyone know where I can find these?

You will get a recipe once you do some quests, no way to find it otherwise.

all my quests is now saying, "advance the quests of koa to continue" or "100% complete" still has not gotten the recipe for the gunpowder barrel. <___<

There's 21 quest givers in quest logs, 1 can only be gotten after you finish the whole story, you sure you got them all? I'm pretty sure one of the 4 pirates gives you a recipe for gunpowder barrel.

I just went back to the pirate who gave me the task to repair the cannons(which I need the barrels for) now I have gotten another questline from him so lets hope this is the questline that give me the recipe for it.
