Bug or not?

Was playing on extreme mode and using the freeze trap a lot as a normally do, until it disappeared. Is this a bug or does it despawn after a certain amount of uses?

The freeze trap is infinite use and doesn't despawn - however, since it activates when Granny steps on it, it's possible (albeit very rare) that her feet pushed it through the floor. I would check the floors below to see if it's there. If not, you can also check near the well in the backyard, since that is where items respawn when they fall out of bounds.
