The second game's PC port has an option to enable or disable Darker mode, but it isn't the same as the mobile version's lighting. When Darker mode is disabled, the player casts a sphere of light around them, and when Darker mode is enabled, it uses the flashlight mechanic from the first game.
It is very unlikely that this will be ported back to the first game, though, since they don't get updated often. Technically, the PC port is actually missing a few updates. (v1.2 is equivalent to mobile version 1.7, but mobile is on v1.7.3)
There are no secret settings to play the game without the flashlight. I have some experience with modding the game and I could try to hack together something that brings over the non-Darker lighting from the second game, if you're interested. Apart from that, there isn't much to be done.
I'm really glad you clarified for the lighting mechanics (and it's a shame they don't update it anymore, it's still the og game after all). If you're up for modding Granny and bringing back default vision, it would honestly be awesome! I'm definitely interested!
