Progression Advice?
I'm going to try and avoid spoiling anything here:

I'm currently feeling under-leveled to continue story content; no spoilers but I am at a point in the game map where all 3 of my red story nodes are boss battles; one for each kingdom. I would estimate I am somewhere in the mid-game, with Duhren at level 12 and the rest of my party around lvl 10 (lone exception is the most recent story addition to my party, level 13).

If all the content in my map is gray or green, should I just wonder around and level up with wilderness fights, or do any players recommend training? I have not enjoyed training mode much so I haven't felt like grinding it for SP.

Alternatively, if anyone thinks the bosses can be beaten at my current lvl with a game mechanic or strategy, that would come as no surprise since I have no idea how to incapacitate them. Really enjoying my playthrough so far. Thanks for any help.

Hi, glad you're liking the game, so,

around level 10 all of the shops get new gear. and I would suggest you random battle with the green map dots to gain gold.

Training is still good, maybe faster if you do AI vs AI, but it's not perfectly balanced, and there's no spoils for gold.

For some insider knowledge:

*Do train your troops to be around the same level. enemies ramp based on the deployed units at the beginning of the battle.

Tips which could make battles easier:

*Typically most of my troops multi-class to a Defender to get the Heavy Armor proficiency and Mastery before the end of the game.

*If the random battles are too difficult, I would go to the Loren areas, those are capped lower.

*EDIT*
*Some good multi-class strategies:

**Equipping a rogue with the Fighter's 2Handed Sword skill, backstabs only work with blade weapons, but this includes the bastard sword, and is mighty powerful.

**Equipping a rogue with the Fighter's Two Weapon Fighting skill and the Warrior's sword skill is also mighty powerful as each of the two attacks could cause a backstab.

**All weapons can use the Fighter's Counter Attack Skills, including ranged, and work against any damaging action. so say a fireball hits one of your characters, they would then be countered with a bow.

**Item imbuement from the Rogue class can be applied to your next attack, even with a bow, causing paralysis or similar to targets at a distance.

**All classes benefit with more power points, gaining the meditation skill from the Wizard class, then even the Auto Meditation from the Healer class will make PP a non-issue.

**Already Mentioned** But heavy armor has a huge effect on chance to be hit, and damage received with physical attacks

Let me know if any of these help, and perhaps if you weren't aware of some of them.

Training strategy:
- Unequip all items (even armor), set everyone as a healer, divide the team and let the AI control.
- Get the minor heal (100 SP) and automeditate (600 SP? I think)
- Change them to Fighter. Farm 400 SP for Counter x1.
- Change them to whatever, but make sure you equip heal, automeditate and counter x1. Without weapons, the fight may take lots of hours. Idle as desired with AI beating each other.
- Automeditate is really OP in battle, but also for free XP/SP gain.

hahaha, hey, that does work, one thing to note though, training can be stopped at any time during the battle in the ESC/Start button screen.

Yeah, good tip. When I created my "suggestion" thread I was going to request it, but then I noticed I could do that already. Anyway, this became my "Idle Game" for about 2 days, haha.

I guess most of my army is level 11 or a little more, and multiclassed to 1000+ SP on many classes (so can heal, automeditate, counter, wear heavy armor and backstab, generally). My goal was to unlock classes, but I failed that for some reason... haha.
