Parts for brown / contour crafting robot ?

I've been given a mission to make a contour crafting robot. It needs some brown parts I've never seen. What do I do ?

You need to find the robot parts. Parts D, E and F. Machine Room and Sewer can also be found in Barren Lands. Search behind debris that cannot be cleared and on top as well.

Those are the right instructions for the nine blue machine parts, which I used to build the first three robots, which are blue. In looking for them I didn't find any brown robot parts.

I have a possible answer to my own question. I think it's a bug relating to the one where you don't get Travis' mission if you let your hoodies clear the debris. One of the robot parts is out in the open. Two brown parts an three white parts are underneath debris. If you let your hoodies clear the debris sometimes they do not appear. If you clear it yourself they always appear.

I am waiting for most information from other players before I know this is definitely a bug. In the meantime I have hacked my savefile to give me these parts so I can continue with the game.

this is the only mission i have yet to complete. I had the NPCs clean out the glass house. that could be why I can't find the last part.
