Research and Guides

I can't figure out how to research, it says you can use books but the books I could find I wasn't able to interact with. Plus, the H Guide is great to fall back on, but maybe an actually tutorial whilst playing would make it easier to know what your supposed to be doing, and have the H Guide to fall back on. The game has potential, but it's really tricky to follow.

Feedback appreciated! For now, did you have an item selected for research in the tech tree?

No I didn't. I couldn't figure out how the tech tree worked, and I kept trying different things like holding items as I approached, building as close as I could to it... and I got so lost and couldn't go any further. I even had my partner look and try to follow the instructions as well and he was as lost as I was :D

Put the books in your toolbar, press whatever no you have used and place books on floor. Interact with them and the tech tree will appear.

If i click on the first research "Machine Things 1" nothing happens. The "H" info says, there will be research site somewhere, but where? I cannot proceed in this game. Why it makes simple things so complicate?

btw, when I check out gameplays from two years ago, there is nothing different from now. ?? wtf does this game development even is alive?

BTW, the Book is in your backpack in case you're wandering called Dad's Book (or something like that).
Access it with TAB / B key. put it in your hotbar (1-9), close your backpack, select your book according its' slot number while your in the building area marked by stripped-yellow line, put it by clicking Right mouse button. Make sure the book blueprint doesn't higlighted red.

Thanks. Wow, that is so over complicated when everyone's other games is just click the button on the research screen you want.

yes. I also think, that they make some thing too complicated. It doesn`t serve that game. The biggest issue @ mom beside this, is the performance imho.
