Game not launching at all
Hi everyone! as the title says, it seems that I have a problem trying to launch the game. When I hit the Play Button on Steam, the "Preparing to Launch..." message appears and the game in the Steam library appears labeled as "Running", but after a few seconds, both the "Preparing to launch..." and the "Running" messages dissapear.

Sadly I'm not able to know what could be causing the problem, since there is no black screen, log file, or pop up that could provide a solution or cause of the problem, the game just stops trying to launch without any sort of notification. I tried running as Admin, verifying the game, reinstalling, but none of them worked.

I also tried updating my GPU driver but I have the newest version (I think), and the game used to run fine on an old laptop I had with AMD. If you have a clue on what could be causing the problem, I would really appreciate your help, I'm really looking forward into playing and sharing custom content.

I'll leave a few of my system specs listed, maybe it's a problem with Intel, but I want to be sure before messing with my computer drivers.

Operating System: Windows 10 Home (64 bits) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~1.2GHz GPU: Intel(R) UHD Graphics - Display Memory: 6159 MB - Dedicated Memory: 128 MB - Shared Memory: 6031 MB

I'm having the same issue. I'm trying reinstalling right now. I don't understand, none of the other Grasshopper PC releases do anything like this (to my knowledge).

Reinstalling the game did work, but we'll see if that lasts. Still can't get a controller to work though.

All of them are ported by different people (not Grasshopper) so yeah, it's just Marvelous' fault somehow.

Glad to see the game is working on your side now, let's hope it stays that way. Sadly, I have reinstalled the game for about four times now and it still doesn't work. I sent a mail to Marvelous' support but I haven't received a reply yet, and to be honest, I'm not expecting to receive one.

I found a report file which doesn't help much but says the following:

bHideLogFilesOption=false
bIsAllowedToCloseWithoutSending=true
CrashConfigPurgeDays=2

It actually did hold long enough for me to beat the game without any issues. Sorry I can't help you more, good luck.

I should have thought about Marvelous.

No problem, I just posted it in case someone knew what it meant or had a similar problem with another UE4 game. Thank you by the way.
