How do I skip the intro video?

On Steam Play, unreal engine games don't play videos, I only see a black screen, but I can hear the audio, what do I press to skip to the title screen? I should be able to see that

Also I'm using an X360 controller, and pressing every button doesn't do anything, holding buttons does nothing, not even pressing LB+RB, keyboard doesn't seem to do anything either, maybe steam play isn't forwarding any input to the game in this mode

I'm using a Dualshock 3 which my computer thinks is a 360 controller, and holding the Start button for about 2 seconds works for me.

You have to install media foundation https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install to get the movies to play. Even though, game renders 3D at low res for some reason and I'm trying to figure out how to fix it

you can also hold Q to skip intro but i highly recommend against it and just installing mf.

low quality 3d can be fixed by editing SteamApps/compatdata/961490/pfx/dosdevices/c:/users/steamuser/Local Settings/Application Data/TSANMH/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/GameUserSettings.ini and changing sg.ResolutionQuality to 100.000000

It might also fix the cinematics in SC6, I'll try that next

HJ, did you encounter any crashes? For me TSA froze twice, once after the first tough enemy and again a bit later on when doing an aerial attack, apart from that the game worked fine
I didn't notice any low res 3D, I'm on a mid range old nvidia

also Media Foundation fixed the cinematics in SC6, it's perfect now

no, i haven't had any crashes nor freezes so far, but i haven't even finished tutorial level completely (i played a lot of with blurfest lol)

For me, there was no blurring, everything was crisp high res, didn't need to do any file editing

I'm still on the tutorial level, I think I was near the boss, but then I crashed, I'll restart the computer later and try again, I haven't rebooted in days

Still crashes near the same spot, right before the factory, after encountering the blue enemies that throw polygons

I get no more freezes after adding PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% to launch options

not sure which one actually solves the issue, but it's fixed now
