Demo won't even launch

I'm not having crashes on startup or anything, just literally nothing. I don't even see the exe in task manager. Steam says I am in-game but nothing has launched.

Same here, just a black window and then it closes.

make a mouseover on steam and see if there is a background window which installs MS Redist stuff, that is required before the exe launches.

same here, loads upto 90% and crashes, tried everything listed so far and zip (win 7)

Mine crashed upon startup also, however i found it was because of my eyefinity setup.
With eyefinity disabled and viewed on a single screen it runs perfectly...
