The sprinting feature of paragon was terrible and contributed to the worst gameplay like team roaming snow balls, and negated smart player decisions around positioning and rotations.
The card system of paragon, while interesting, was a terrible choice because it locked items in the shop behind luck based card pack openings. They had that weird pve mechanic where ur items leveled up, but items in a moba should never have been locked behind a pay wall and leveling up luck for pvp.
Right now, i am loving the game but it feels like i picked back up a 10 year old game that has not changed too much. They need to focus on new characters, balance, match making BM players who get mad they didnt get their roles, and highlighting/expanding the only thing i am considering spending money on - the character affinity tracks.
I also miss the original level, big and open, with foliage. I wouldnt mind seeing that brought back, but the prime and fangtooth pits were terrible and could be redesigned. Does anyone remember those extractors in the jungle? such a cool idea, really could have been expanded to do different things. IDK, just an idea.
