Charging wayyyy too much to unlock heros

I kinda agree. I have 150+ hours in the game and havent unlocked about a dozen of the characters. I think you need to gain more from actual matches instead of most of your gains coming from massive level bonuses.

Its "ok" right now but itll only get progressively worse as time goes on. Plus their free rotations can sometimes just ignore entire roles which feels really weird for a newer player.

I am 178 hours in and only need 4k amber for the last hero unlock, the new one. So maybe it's your performance/xp gain? (f2p)

it is same as early league of legends.
you need to keep in mind that league of legends has a crap ton of skins by now and also plenty of champions.. which is why they can afford to give away so many for low prices.

for predecessor it does not have much skins and not nearly as many champions

i agree that its frustrating to play as f2p because of that, but they have no other choice if they want to make any money right now

I don't agree: I have enough in-game currency to unlock the next 8 new heroes, and I'll probably have enough for 8 more by the time I do that. Just the benefits of supporting from the beginning, I suppose, but the Amber gain isn't that bad (a big drop every four account levels, iirc). Just pick up a character you like and master them: by the time you're bored with them, you'll have enough for a bunch of unlocks.

Doesn't even take long to unlock heroes. Every 5 levels, you get a boost in the amount of amber for leveling up. Don't see the issue here, honestly. They also have cheap hero bundles. This post feels like a troll and if that is not the case, then OP doesn't play.

They do not have cheap hero bundles lol
Charging someone over 10 dollars for a character unlock isn't cheap
The idea that its play the game for hours on hours to unlock ONE GUY
or pay 10+ AUD is INSANE.

You guys defending this didn't play the original paragon at this point lol.

I have not experienced this.

I am not exactly high level, My account is in the 20s. Just started playing this week. But i have managed to purchase every character in my main role (support), and iv been getting the ones in my secondary role (solo laner) at a nice pace. Now I dont know if the account level stops, or the amber being awarded for leveling is decreased, or if leveling itself slows down. But I have not felt like spending money on characters is necessary nor do i feel like the unlocks are slow.

This may change as i level, but it is the case now.
