Its not illegal clone, maybe you think its cheap but thats the point of EPIC giving the assets for free so someone else made the game cause they only care about Fortnite.
Seems like you are not aware that Paragon closed its doors because epic games shut it down in favor of crappy trash fortnite. Also they gave people the tools/kit so anyone can make a paragon clone game if they wanted too, that is what you see here on steam.
maybe do your research before making a topic.
Next time do a research instead of just talking ♥♥♥♥
actually i was referring to your comment about it being illegal, and i was pointing out that this game is not illegal. paragon gave away the kits for free for anyone to use. calm down and grab a cheese burger with onions and fries.
Anyway, this game will be great, for now it's just at early stage of developpement (Pre-Alpha), that's why it can look cheap to you. But believe me, this game will be great and even better (in the future) than Paragon was.
They didn't mention PARAGON in the topic, because this should be illegal to use the name of Paragon to communicate about this game (which is not a Paragon remake). The card system, the map, the launcher, the HUD, the sounds FX and some abilities of the heroes will not be the same as Paragon. So it's a complete new game.
If you loved Paragon, you will be happy with this one. You can ask questions it's ok, there is just a good way to do it instead of discredit a legit and good project before the released....
yea its sad. alot of companies choose not to make their game offline playable. The only one that has done it was hellgate global, which is on steam. after they shut down the mmo version, they put it on steam and actually listen to the community. wish more games would follow this.
Well Perfect World didn't want Gigantic to be played offline, but if you got the Steam version (or the files for the Arc version, maybe it works on the WinStore version too), you can run a command at start so it bypass the login and you can play offline, I think is mainly for you to play against bots, but at least they did it
I kinda get why some companies do it, but is stupid, if you no longer make money out of the product, just make it so people can play it local instead (same applies to Nintendo lawsuiting ROMs from games 20year +, and some companies don't even exist anymore)
