Crashing when starting New game :\ Ideas?

Game starts normally, then when I enter the door to start a new game it crashes.
The -720window trick that helped some other people did not work. I genuinely want to try this game, I am not here only for the cards.

Try going to the properties of the game in Steam and add -nomusic to the launch parameters.
