Cutscene Skip
Does anyone know if the game has a cutscene skip mod at all? I'm pretty sure I'm close to the end, and I know I've probably missed plenty of chapter specific achievements, aswell as Aiden collectibles. Just wondering if anyone has made a mod to skip the cutscenes for achievement cleanup, especially on those longer chapters with how the achievements only seem to unlock on chapter completion and not criteria fulfilment.

To reiterate: This is for achievement cleanup, so don't give me "why would anyone want to skip cutscenes in a game that is entirely cutsceness".

Nope. But you don't need it. Once you know where to go, getting the achievements is easier than you think, especially if you follow a guide. You can get every achievements in two playthroughs, excluding your first. It took me 6 playthroughs cause I did it in a stupid/unorganized way but it allowed me to see all dialogues so I didn't mind.

And I'll say it anyway: why would anyone want that, but also how would anyone do that? It'd be like removing every shooting scenarios from Doom; how and why? It would be easier to just cheat and give you the achievements directly lol

Because of how long the game is. Its not that getting them is *hard* so much as just time-consuming and repetitive. They could have at least implemented something like what was present in some of the life is strange entries, where whilst you couldn't skip it persay, you could at least speed up the bits you'd seen before.

I really don't think I could muster seeing every single bit of dialogue in the game if it means having to play through certain chapters 3 times to see 90% of the exact same dialogue.

Honestly, this just tells me you shouldn't go for the achievements. You don't need to get them, especially on Steam where they matter a lot less than Xbox or PlayStation with their gamer scores and platinum trophies. Even those don't matter.

As I said, I personally enjoyed seeing all the variations of the dialogue and what the different paths are like; I played the game six times lol. If you don't think you will, then don't. Focus on your enjoyment over everything else.
