Do yourself a favor
Do not buy this game. The controls are so awful, you cannot enjoy the gameplay or story. Both keyboard and controller are equally horrible.

no, that's half true. controller is manageable once you learn the pattern. and disable motion sensor in settings.

Played it with my GF, gamepad controls work fine. Took her a couple moments to get used to Aiden's control scheme, had fun quickly after. Girl controls are dang simple, when you pay attention in the tutorial.

Can't vouch for KBM controls, we've only played on TV.

I play the game (2nd run right now) with a controller (XBox series controller) and it works pretty good EXCEPT when the MC has to cross a door, and instead gets stuck in the border of the frame. It's pretty annoying, specially when you have to run or flee. :steamfacepalm:

What relevance does playing on a ''TV'' have on your input method?

The game has a ''Very positive'' rating.

Clearly you are but a small minority.

The controls, while not great, are not an issue, even on normal difficulty. This game is much easier than all TellTale games for example.

If your specific problem is walking around, then that's not really an issue either, as you can't get lost and you basically travel from point A to point B in most cases, with a few stops along the way sometimes if you're curious about your environment.

TV gaming is generally accociated with gamepad input.

The combinations are endless. I know console gamers that play on monitors using controllers and PC gamers who play with a keyboard and mouse using their living room TV.

Playing on a ''TV'', and assuming a gamepad is involved by default is rather ignorant. That's especially true since the keyboard + mouse has been an option on consoles for many years.

Absurd generalization.

I'm not saying edge cases don't exist. Hell, a huge reason why I love my Deck over consoles is the flexibility, including using a full-sized BT keyboard. Still, GENERALLY, that's how it goes. Rather often, people playing on their TVs do so with gamepads. Console players either way, PC flexibility facilitates for gamepad play as well.

Honey, you're mixing two topics together! You're answering as if I said "only gamepads for TV sez I". Yeah, had I said that, I would very much see your point. However, I'm talking about what's happening out there on the whole, as statistic average. In that light, TV & gamepads are very much connected.

Honey? Still a better love story than Twilight, I guess. Haha!

''Can't vouch for KBM controls, we've only played on TV.''

That's what you said. You excluded keyboard and mouse controls based on playing on a ''TV''. Your words, not mine.

That's what you said. You excluded keyboard and mouse controls based on playing on a ''TV''. Your words, not mine. Those last five words hold no relevance whatsoever.

ive played alot of movie games and i really liked the controll scheme when i missed quick times and it mattered in a way or i had to move my mouse alot to do the aiden orb events, rather than games like twd where you just press the key and it plays the cutscene or resets until you get it
