Controller's Compatibility
So I have attempted to play this game, and the guitar in The Experiment level (you know, the first level) refuses to respond no matter what I do to the mouse. After a bit of research, it turns out that the PC Controls are awful and that this isn't an isolated case. The next logical thing would be to attempt to use a controller, but seeing as I only have a PC to game on, I don't have one. If I do buy one and plug in in to my laptop, will the game accept it as a suitable interface, and is it actually any better on the PC? Or should I just refund the game for being unplayable?

Mess around with the mouse sensitivity. Personally I've had zero issues with using the mouse & keyboard and I use default settings so I don't know what works and doesn't, but I have heard that mouse sensitivity was the issue. Other than that, click and drag the mouse towards the white dots to interact with anything.

Also, in my opinion and from my experience, controlling Jodie is better with a controller while controlling Aiden is better with a keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for the advice

You are right it is way better with controller, just get a cheap one and you will be sorted. Else, you can also play around with the mouse sensitivity for a better grip on the camera control but in some later levels you would definitely miss the smoothness of a controller, as you generally don't die in this game, it's possible that due to bad control scheme you end up in a different path than what you intended
