Any solution for pixilated graphics? It's terrible...
Maybe someone had this issue: https://preview.redd.it/yqeg5ypgz0e51.jpg?width=1438&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eb672bf254abd74d27eb31999acc7b1466394f26
This is crazy. All 3d models has huge pixels at the borders, but game FPS is high.
And... obsibiously my graphics driver is up to date.

Also try verifying cache integrity in steam and see if that helps, game files could be corrupt

both of those suggestions are wrong, what your actual issue is, is that this game is ALWAYS running borderless. Even if it is set to fullscreen. that means the game doesn't actually change resolution, it only downscales or upscales from your current desktop resolution. So if your desktop is in 1080p, and you set the game to 720p, then the textures will be downscaled to 720p and become pixelated. To solve this, you'll have to run the game at your desktop's resolution or higher. And if that is too much for your computer, you can always change your desktop's resolution in windows settings.

It runs at desktop resolution by default at first launch and it was already like that.

did you actually play around with the settings, or are you just saying that?

That's a PC thing in my opinion, my game looks nothing like that; that's bad. I would fiddle in your resolution like suggested because it definitely looks like it's playing catchup.

I tried to change many things like AA, shadows and etc before asking this. I tried to change game resolution to a lower ones (my desktop is 1600*900. game doesn't allow to set higher than desktop. it was 1600*900 at first launch, so I tried to lower it).

And the problem is not pixelation only. Look on the dress in left side. It's all white, like textures are missing.

P.S. Tried to run it in fullscreen 1920*1080, but nothing changed. Same crazy artifacts.

P.S.2. Heavy Rain which is obsiviously made on same engine is totally fine.

ok, yeah that's definitely a hardware issue, beeter update your drivers, or revert them back to an older and more stable version. changing setttings or modifying files prob won't fix broken textures. not at that level, at least

Yeah, I am on AMD... Radeon HD 5750... Well, looks like no solution for us, since no single reply received for so many threads.

Trying to play a ps3 game from 2013 when your GPU is from 2009 will never be a good idea. Also we're in 2021.

Oh yeah. It's all coming together. ShadowxShinobi15 was right.
I use an old Radeon HD 6950. Your and my GPUs belong to the "Legacy" category, which means, there are no driver updates for us:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/ati-radeon-hd-5000-series/ati-radeon-hd-5750

I've downloaded "Radeon Software Crimson Edition Beta" for my 6950.

Looks like the Beyond: Two Souls will stay unplayable for us.
I'm not an expert, but there could be a chance to make it work by downgrading the drivers, like ShadowxShinobi15 suggested.

Or maybe... the time has come? Time to kiss our old AMDs goodbye and live in 2021?
This may be the best solution.

...if not, you can still get a refund ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

JUST HOLD ON A MINUTE! I have an old ass Integrated Radeon R6 gpu as well! and I replaced my default drivers with Radeon adrenalin edition with a clean install years ago. Not only does the game LOOK fantastic but it runs decent as well! also, why did you download an early beta version of a driver and think it would work? anyways, y'all should be able to play this game just fine, just do a clean install of some shiny new drivers.
Kosmo零 Jan 7, 2021 @ 12:23pm
R6 is way more fresh than ours GPUs. No andrenalin for us.
Kosmo零 Jan 8, 2021 @ 3:52am
I tried it just now, but there is just an error about driver compatibility. Yes, it installs (MANUALLY or else error 182), but it breaks everything. OpenGL version drops to 1.1. DX installed version turns into 12 O_o, but actually everything works in software rendering mode. I doubt it is possible to play like that. I started the game, but even quantic dream logo had constant freezes.

There is small chance it will work on Linux under Mesa drivers (unofficial), but I don't want to install Linux just to try that... at least now...

GUYS I HAVE FOUND A QUICK WORKAROUND!

IF YOU HAVE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ OLDASS GRAPHICS CARD, JUST PLAY WITH YOUR INTEL HD GRAPHICS OR RYZEN APU... IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE DRIVER OF YOUR INTEL HD, DOWNLOAD IT AND RUN THE GAME IN POWER SAVING MODE, THAT USES THE CPU'S GPU!!

THE GAME GRAPHICS SYSTEM IS SO CRAP AND 30fps in Medium settings is playable, so GL <3
