Will the credits be updated?

On December, 1st, Ellen Page announced in her Instagram page she decided to be a "man" now, yes, and now brands herself as "Elliot Page". Regardless of the merit of its event, I wonder if Quantic Dream will update its credits, and description of Beyond: Two Souls on Store Page.

I know that, I played it back in 2013 on PS3. I read news on Netflix at least some of her movies were recredits to account for this "transition". Not sure Quantic Dream will bother wit hthat, though. But I'm sure there are people pestering them with this already.

Actually, Elliot is non-binary but accepts he/him pronouns alongside they-them. Not a man. Either way, yeah, it would be good if the credits were updated to account for their coming out.

It should be handled like a name change for any other reason. Happens all the time (although not typically after obtaining world fame):

If you write about a person, use the most recent name they choose to go by. If you write about a title, use e.g. "Elliot Page (as Ellen Page)". Finished works don't need to be changed, but updating metadata like the Steam store page would be easy enough and the respectful thing to do.

Unless if heavily requested by Elliot or their respected behalf, then the credits will be changed if QD approved it.

Probably not, i mean its like when someone dies we dont see the "late" xxx in the credits or anything, but in the future they definitely would if they were to make a sequel now

If they change it, they should add a "formerly known as Ellen Page" to it, to at least account for the fact that in the past the publicly known persona was Ellen Page.

Was asking myself "Elliot" Page. It's Ellen. And I have seen the discussions and the news about Ellen But it changes nothing. She was a good actress, he's now a good actor. Adieu Ellen, bonjour Elliot.

Updating the store page to the new name doesn't change the game, its characters or who its modelled after. Kudos to them for updating it and giving credit but Ellen was the one who made the game what it is, Elliot can be himself but its hard to relate him to a role of someone who is essentially a different person. Good luck to him regardless.
