Steam controller support?

This game has an official steam controller settings (from a Quantic Dream), even a gamepad action icons are changed for it BUT no matter what I press it works only in menu, not the game itself. I can't even press the 1st action in game to stand up. I've also tried all gampad default settings (except mouse emulation), but they can't even open manu inlike official layout.

I've tried mouse input and it works (icons are changed) and when I press controller button they're changing back, so game itself definitely registers gamepad input (as steam controller according to icons) but still no response on any action in game.

I've tried to press right stick, move it in all directions, do it the same time e.t.c. with no success.

So I gust wonder, has anyone with steam gamepad succeed in playing this game?

I'm having the same issue. Just got the game and I can't use my controller whatsoever (xbox one controller)

I'm using the Xbox one controller but I had to set it up in big picture mode first. Then restart Steam and run the game again. That worked for me.
