No matter what I do I can't get off monkey bars.

I'm playing on my laptop with only my laptop mouse (I don't have a computer mouse that you plug in because I prefer laptop mouse) and no matter what I do I can't get off monkey bars and I have no idea anymore what to do. Can anyone help me? It's really annoying because I can't figure it out at all.

do you mean in the CIA training? you just have to hold LMB and RMB at same time and move down your mouse. If it doesnt work, then your control is buggy. Restarting the game should solve the issue.

Yeah.
I have been doing just that yesterday tried a bunch of times, restarted the game 3 times and still nothing... maybe I'll have more luck today :/

I have been doing just that yesterday tried a bunch of times, restarted the game 3 times and still nothing... maybe I'll have more luck today :/

I did have the same problem as you where it doesnt work no matter what I do... But Unfortunately, I dont know what triggered it, suddenly it worked and never had the problem for me since. So I figure maybe it was restarting the game. Have you tried hold LMB and RMB then move down your mouse but this time, you do it fast???

Sorry for a late reply it worked now when I used different mouse. I was playing just with laptop mouse. I had to plug in the other mouse to play.

In case anyone still has this issue: I also couldn't get this to work, not even with restarting the game. I was using a laptop with a mouse, that also has a mousepad. Turning on "Left Handed Mode" in the options, allowed me to get past it. It seems that by default, it only responds to you pressing both buttons on the mousepad, not both buttons on the actual mouse.

Yeah I jacked my mouse sensitivity to 100 and it barely helped. The martial arts sequence I ended up rage quitting. Two different kinds of mice (roller ball and standard optical) and it was always hit or miss it executing what I wanted. Damned frustrating

With a trackpad this just has me swearing a whole helluva lot. Detroit Being Human they created far superior controls - controls here are just stupid.

Disappointed. This game is truly not fun without a controller. On a console, it's probably quite fun.
