Just turn off STEAM CLOUD SAVES SYNC ( in steam settings->cloud ) and after this you should delete save files in your computer ( %USERPROFILE% \Saved Games\Beyond Two Souls ) ! Now start the game, and u can choose again !

Same issue here, tried deleting the supposedly "save" folder (960990) but nothing changed, i will not play the game until i can fix this - you would think starting a "new" game would give you the option to change that but nah

When you start a new game, you can start with "New" and "New Remixed". Deleting files seems hamfisted.

Yeap, you're right, but when you already chosen the Original one then you can't change to Remixed

Also, why deleting dll files? Those are windows dynamic libraries, they do not store any save game or other data.

I have done some research via youtube videos, and apparently, both versions start with the same scene (police station with swat), but then it differs - the original order starts with the scene from childhood at home, while the remixed version starts with the experiment in a laboratory. I have chosen the remixed version at first, and now I am locked in it - no matter what order I choose when starting a new game, I always play the remixed order. Which is definitely a bug, you should be able to change the orders.

Yeah, I think we have to wait for the patch. Anyway, thank you too!

I think deleting files in the installation folder does not make much sense. Most games write their configuration and save games into a separate folder, usually into the user home directory (c:\Users\<username>), so that if you uninstall and reinstall, your config and progress is not lost. I would expect this game to behave similarly, but I did not find the config folder for this game anywhere in my home folder.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Nah. It's NOT chronological no matter what one's do. Deleting saves, switching off steam cloud.. smh.
