That’s the easy mode and you can adjust the damage received and enemy speed from there. It won’t affect achievements according to the wiki.
I can't get into the intricacies of deck-building, so I'm at a loss as to how to even proceed. I can get 6 stages deep before dying instantaneously, and with RNG being RNG, I can't get anything good. Hard to 'theme' a deck when there's so much garbage surrounding what the one guide I've found's recommendations.
Also yes, I'm aware of the 'focus' thing, but even setting Hearth as focus gets me nothing I'm looking for. There's no real "HEY HERE'S HOW TO PLAY X" from what I can discover, and with Angel Mode, I'm still suffering via deck issues.
I feel this. I got it for a gift so I can't refund it, but I'd be super mad if I paid money for this. I love MMBN and I love card based roguelikes, and thought this would be amazing, but this game is the most frustrating I've played in a long time. Absolutely the meanest game for new players to play, a hundred percent.
I'll agree, when I first got it, I thought about hating it, but I played it a bit more and then really got into it. The first world is usually really hard when getting into it, but if you try it a few times, you can learn to get past it, and then 1-2 worlds in, you're really able to start building a cool deck, and then you can really get into it.
