About Terrable (Spoilers, probably.)

So, I've managed to beat Terrable a few times. But there's something that's been nagging at the back of my mind.

Isn't it a bit unfair that you need to not have spent your revive to beat her? Whether it's through an existing artifact (Like Saffron's base artifact) or Reva, it feels a little... excessive?

Especially since it doesn't count as a completed run unlike beating the Gate and getting nuked by Serif.

I'm just wondering if its intended to not get a completed run if you've lost your revives prior to facing Terrable. That's all.

I don't think you do.
I beat her as Terra and the same thing happens where she one shots me and then I'm healed back to 101 HP.
Unless you're talking about another ending I haven't seen.

Didn't happen to me both on the Shiso and the Saffron runs I've done where I had expended revives. In fact, I lost my Reva revive in the Terrable fight and ended up wiped by her final attack regardless.

I dunno, maybe I'm experiencing a glitch or something.

Did this only happen to you as Reva?
Because I'm thinking... I think it's Reva who comes and heals you back to 101, could be that the dev forgot to have someone heal you when you're playing as Reva yourself, or maybe it's intended.

I've been playing this alongside a few friends, and one of them definitely ran into this issue as Reva.

If you are using Reva, then Saffron comes in to revive you at the end when you beat Terrable.

Speaking of weird endings, I beat Terrable, got put to 1HP then saved by everyone but their onslaught wasn't enough to put her to 1HP and a purple laser ended up killing me while I couldn't do anything.

Hmm... yep, just lost a run to this. I had a glorious jam deck rolling on Chrono Saffron. It feels so good to fire nukes for thousands of damage with Jam Slam. And I had Miracle artifact, which with the sheer volume of hits I was dealing procced a bunch. But I ate a lethal hit near the end and lost my Reva revive, so... oof. No clear even with that monstrous damage.

Happened to me just now with Violette. I was running my f i l t h y poison build and beat Terrable only to be one-shotted by her desparation attack. With my revive spent, the run ended in a loss since no one pinch-revived me.

Kinda feel ripped off, since I made sure to spare everyone up to that point, but FRIGGIN' Selicy 4 just walls me when I fight her. So of course, who do I find waiting for me just before Eden? Selicy 4.

hey, this seems pretty awful.
now I dont feel so bad having cycled through the same run 3 times for an hour, while i kept killing everyone and wondering what I did wrong lol

does it still happen? or it was fixed and Reva can now revive second time if first one was expended?

This was 100% changed within a few weeks of the game's launch. I forget which update but either 1.1 or 1.2. A LOT of people were very vocal about that being a very bad decision.
