If you play a few runs you should unlock Saffron's alternate kit that can slow down time!
Co-op is definitely hard and both players need to be pretty used to the game! I'll try to make it more forgiving for new players in the future!
I do wonder what the stats do.
You unlock chars generally by beating them after stage 4 or something; once they're hard enough they're unlockable lol.
Aside from the skill word tool tips it seems to be kinda like trinity in affecting certain spells but kinda useless without spells that use it.
Flow sort of works like Trinity in that certain spells create it, and other spells consume it to give you more powerful effects. The difference is that you lose 1 Flow every time you cast a spell, whether it's a "Flow" spell or not -- so in order to trigger it regularly you'll want a LOT of Flow spells in your deck in order to guarantee you can play them back to back, or have other means of generating it (like, I got an artifact that gives you Flow every time you apply Frost to an enemy). So far it seems like Flow is more for quick effects that give little bonuses when played together, and Trinity is more for slow-charging really big effects.
