Can I go back to find missed puzzle pieces?
I got on the boat at the end of, maybe level 3, and I was still missing 4 puzzle pieces. Am I able to go back?

I don't know, it hasn't happened to me yet, but taking into account that, in order to pass from one level to another, you must solve the jigsaw of the planet with the pieces you have found in that level, I find it pretty weird that the game allowed you to leave the level.

I needed 4 puzzle pieces but was able to contunue on. I did solve the puzzle for the next level but was not sure if it gave me the 4 I missed or if it was 4 short. It actually made me lose interest in the game and I stopped playing. Not knowing if I messed up or could get 100% made me not want to keep going.

I just reached the level where you get on the boat. I could pass you my savefile when I reach the end of the level, if you're interested.

I can also beat the level (getting all the pieces), solve the puzzle and make a screenshot so you can see if your puzzle lacks some pieces or has the same pieces as mine.

Thanks for the offer but I think I will just go back to the game sometime, maybe next weekend when I have the time. It doesnt really matter if I missed them, I'm just ocd about games sometimes.

You can't go back to a chapter once it has been completed. However you do not need to collect Puzzle Pieces in order to advance to the next chapter, their an optional bonus mission.

Optional bonus mission, I wonder what is considered as a bonus on this example. If you miss them or complet them, it doesn't reward you at all. And it doesn't affect the completion of the menu puzzle either.

Wondering the same, I literally got every single puzzle piece except the last one on the last level. The level ended so suddenly, and now I finished the game collecting all but one single puzzle piece and it makes me wonder what these damn things even do if anything at all

Glad I'm not the only one why wants to catch'em all.

since there is no achievements or anything...There really is no point in me trying to get that one last missing puzzle piece right?

Actually, i just finally completed the entire game, finding the puzzle pieces are actually pointless it looks like. So, stressing over missing a piece or two doesn't matter, in the end. I missed one on level...3? and then i missed 2 on the final puzzle. It seems that you still end up completely the world puzzle with no missing pieces. Also, in the end, you can replay all the puzzles (not the levels, mind you).

Hope this helps!
