Magic Table

I can’t put my sword on the magic table I don’t know what’s wrong can someone help me.

How did you do it? Because I have been trying to do it for the past hour and can't figure it out.

With sword in hand press E at the table. I placed a stone before, not sure if this is needed. So i made the picture for a blood spell but what then? I didnt figured out yet.

Sometimes it simply doesnt work. Then throw the stone to the ground, pick it up, place it again at the table and then use the sword on it. Does also works with left mouse button when everything is ok.

I tried it with LMB several times and it never worked, which is weird since that and E are supposed to do the same thing.

I can't get it to work no matter what I try. I have the sword or crystal in my hand, and I have the table highlighted, but nothing happens. I'm starting a whole new game to see if that fixes it.

Put the crystal on the table. It should automatically place itself in the correct slot. For the sword, you sort of need to be looking down when you hold it and click on the table. I found that if I'm looking straight ahead and the table is highlighted, it won't always activate.

Oh, I figured it out. I mistook the magic stone for the magic crystal. I didn't quite get that I had to get the item named after the rune I wanted

I've got the correct rune, a sword and the correct spell crystal on the table... what do I do to make it work?

Slide the stones around until it matches the pattern of the rune. There's an empty slot at the top and bottom to slide the unused symbols into.

P.S. The table outline disappears after taking an order from a customer to enchant their sword, but the table can still be interacted with normally (outline reappears after enchanting your sword I believe, or maybe simply after exiting the table). Exiting to the main menu and re-entering makes the outline reappear too.

I never did get it myself, but after a super quick forum search, seems like you can get it from trading a weapon in the 1500-1800 coin range to a customer (guessing it's chance-based, just like how sometimes customers are too poor to afford your 300 coin swords), though I'm not sure why you asked this question in two places, not to mention the other one already has the answer. The search function exists for a reason. The answer is definitely obscure though...

That laziness aside, supposedly (since I've never done this) you don't actually need to own a rune pattern to use it so long as you know what it looks like. So if anyone wants to do it that way instead, a forum search can show you a screenshot of the hell pattern.
