The blade wasn't one of mine by the way, but rather a "custom" order for a customer from answering the door and someone wanting a Damascus stack done. Since this is a new save and I don't have a Damascus table (the acid step), I haven't made any Damascus blades yet on this file and this was the first time I tried this step since coming back after a long break since I saw it as a quick, easy way to make a little extra gold while my current billet was heating. I used to make Damascus blades all the time though and never had this problem before.

I can provide any other information a developer might need to help diagnose and fix this, just ask.
EDIT: Just tried again, this time using one of my own blades instead of one a customer gave me to work on and the same thing happened. This time it was a large gold piece on the far left, a small black piece next to it, another small black piece next to that, a brown forge scale/fuzzy/ceramic one on the far right, and one of the large grey pieces (not silver, it's like a stone grey or something) was coming down on the far left as I usually go left to right with every layer. Once again it passed right through and I failed, wasting the plate box I purchased for it, and meaning as well that the alchemy table thing is useless.
Everything worked at the very first time, but I started a new game and after that the ingot has always been on side and forging hasn't work right.
Turn off VSync. The game runs smoother with it off anyways.
Any news on an ETA for this bugfix? It's been 4 months.
Then... i'm think about he abandon this version.. to develop the second game...
