Cannot use hammer on ingot

Is this a tutorial related bug? Placed the ingot in the furnace, heated up bit below 850 and placed the nicely glowing brick on the anvil.
Accessing it works but it won't allow me to use the hammer on it and it loses its glow really fast.
Am I doing something wrong?

Apparently solved itself after restarting the game and skipping the tutorial.
Succesfully wasted my first ingot by now :D
Any similar encounters? Didn't find a "know bugs" list

happened to me as well. i was half way through finishing the sword and then i couldnt use the hammer to finish the ingot

This same issue happened to me. Although it is more wide scope. Pretty much every blade I start runs into this at some point during shaping the ingot into a blade. The only way to fix it (from what I can tell) is by exiting and reloading. I'm at the point of giving up if I cannot make a single item in this game that requires hammering without this occurring either the 2nd or 3rd time after bringing it back from the furnace to the anvil.

I've had other issues where the anvil screen will get stuck after leaving the anvil. Maybe this is related to this issue where the hammer just doesn't do anything. I've also seen it where if I enter the anvil it doesn't hammer in the right place where I put my cursor. Seems strange. Has anyone else had these sort of issues?

Hm, didn't have issues after exiting the tutorial. But as buggy as the game in its current state is, I decided to let it rest for a while... this game simply *is* in a really early state ^^

Same issue here, on a fresh install. I also skipped tutorial, but the hammer disappears.
Unplayable atm. :(
