Is there a reason in particular he's asking for this functionality?
Sorry for the late reply. I didn't catch steam notifying me.
But I guess as a young kid (5) he just likes to see familiar stuff again, re-play sequences you know.
So in my situation, I played it with my son, but now my daughter wants to play with him and needs to start fresh. We've used all of the save slots and the delete trashcan does not delete the file. Just for clarification, this is in the Atari VCS version, I could drop to PC Mode and create a new game using steam, but why? Does the trashcan not work on the VCS? Does the trashcan work on PC version? Is there an area I can delete the save data on either system?
There's a known bug with the thrash can, which we've fixed in the beta. We'll release that soon (also to the VCS). Unfortunately there's no workaround, except for deleting all your save files at once in the settings menu, though I can imagine that's not what you would want.
Sorry about this.
