Release Date?

It's now november 2019. Any news?

I doubt it will be published today.... or tomorrow....

I have found an answer (kind of) on the other thread, regarding their other game. So it seems AR-K ep. 1-2 are getting at some point free remasters. The "End Game" will be relased after they are done with that rpg they are making. That were the facts, the rest of the response was a regular corpo and semi-emotional bs, like "we love AR-K", "we have a special attention for it" or "AR-K players deserve it". I hope this info helps. I also don't believe we are getting ep. 4 this year:/

They're not a trustworthy studio. Shortly before launching the Kickstarter for The Waylanders (RPG) they told their Kickstarter backers of AR-K that "End Game" was coming in the summer of 2018. That was the first KS update since 2015. When I complained about their lack of communication with backers on some forums they got upset with me and told me their studio had been experiencing a lot of financial difficulties which caused the delays but AR-K would be finished very soon.

Then once Summer 2018 arrived, they told people on forums it had been delayed but would come out in early 2019. I no longer believe they have any intention of finishing AR-K. They probably weren't making much money selling the earlier episodes, but rather than be honest about it I think they lied to avoid bad publicity while running a Kickstarter for the new RPG.

Hi Everyone, I am not going to post hate towards the company or developing crew because that does nothing in my eyes. However I am going to post about the simple facts which are this, a company that does not keep the fan base / community up to date is one I am not sure I trust anymore. I agree 100 % with david what's interesting is that if you have another project that is on the books right now then say that. The wrong move is to go completely silent and say nothing because that just looks like you don't care and you are ignoring the community. I never got how so many computer game companies promise something and it just fall off the grid and they say nothing when it dose not happen. I mean just post a comment like we are sorry but this project had to take a backseat due to we are trying to complete our RPG game Waylanders its that simple. Then say we appreciate the patience and ask that you hold on a little longer and promise that ARK 4 final episode is coming after we finish Waylanders. A good example of a great company who vales and listens to there community is the King Art Games they released The Book Of Unwritten Tales 2 different games through Kickstarter but even when there was a setback or delay they always communicated it back to the community and let them know they are still working on it and it will be released. The second thing I want to say is computer game companies don't realize that you are possibly hurting your future projects by staying silent on current projects. What I mean by that is the community you built to trust you lose trust and makes them think twice before purchasing another product from you because in their eyes they think will they didn't keep me updated on their current project why should I trust them on this new game therefore possibly hurting any revenue that could be obtained on this new game no matter how good it looks. I even want as far as reaching out to the company directly through their website contact us forum and still have not heard a thing back. Now I will say one last thing which is if the game were free and they were doing it out of their own spare time then fine they owe us nothing however when you make money off a game they owe us the courtesy of periodic updates its as simple as that. With all this being said I am going to forget everything related to ARK 4 until after 2020 when supposedly Waylanders is coming out. At which time we should get an update on ARK 4 final episode being that is the last thing they said to the community.

As far as I know, there is no TBoUT 3, everyone is still waiting for the announcement, and because the Shakes & Fidget Adventure failed, that won't happen anytime soon. For announcements they only use Twitter, I don't know, if they know that you can do announcements through Steam now, the last time they updated the release date, that wasn't possible yet.

Oh boy, I wondered whatever happened to this I paid for three and only got the two..

So, what you're saying is, they didn't have enough to do what they kickstarted and had to try another game to finish, nice to find out finally..

They will continue development as soon as The Waylanders is out of Early Access. So possible release in 2021?

If true, this is good news, thanks for the update, I had about abandoned hope on it. Loved the series, though.
