Game is stuck on enemy turn

I am in the second mission; the one where you have to fight all the rats and (I believe) wolves. When it was the enemy turn, the wolf just sits there and the hourglass spins on and on. 15 minutes later, still spinning.

You should at the very least put a "skip enemy turn" button if this is a known problem. That way we could press it if the enemy has been thinking for at least 30 seconds, skip their turn, and keep playing without having to do a hard reset.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, where are the savegames stored? I wanted to make sure I back them up when I do a regular backup of my system.

Happened again. Same map, different white wolf, same result.

Third time, this time on the first (kobold) map, fighting the last Kobold Wizard up in the upper right corner of the map. He cast a buff on himself and then the timer started spinning.

The game is unplayable for me now, if I cannot complete a map.
