Game crashes when the g29 is connected

Hey there. PC 3 was running just fine with the wheel the last week. But just recently the game decided it wanted to crash as soon as the wheel is connected. It runs normal with the Gamepad but it chrashes with the wheel. Does Anyone have a solluition

I'm getting a CTD now as well. I literally just upgraded my computer to a 3080 so I can play this in VR and looks like that isn't going to shake out. I've sunk a few hours into troubleshooting, no luck.

Several racing titles have started having problems with Logitech wheels. I suspect another crap software update from Logitech. You can see if some of these solutions help:

Ok so plugging the usb in the motherboard slots did not work for me. I thought i might share that

It's definitely the GHUB software on my end. I can completely kill the GHUB process and get into the game fine, the steering wheel won't function though. If I start the game, then try to start the GHUB process while the game is already running, it's an immediate CTD.

Definitely GHub, also doesn't work in Dirt 2.0, DOES work in ACC Competizione too.

I also have a Logitech mouse and when I open PC3 it switches to generic RGB colours, so Ghub is doing SOMETHING to make this happen.

Sounds like it is GHub. I'm not having these issues and I'm also using a G29, but with Logitech Gaming Software (version 9.02 in my case).

Is that what GHub superseded? If not I sense I should purge GHub and get that for the sake of my sanity.

You the real MVP. That's an intense solution but for people who can't wait for Logitech to fix the software themselves, it's a good one.

If you uninstall GHub and install Logitech's gaming software, the game will load fine after that. I had the same issue :)
