Rivals isn't the worst replacement though, it's nice to have certain car / track combo's advertised, some have been insanely fun that I never would have tried otherwise.
Semi related to Rivals however, I have started noticing that the career hotlap and pacesetter game modes seem like they're designed with a specific car / upgrade combo in mind.
I can only push certain cars so much and It's annoying feeling like I'm placing really good times but still end up 5+ seconds behind tier three time.
Kind of sucks to take my favorite class car out and set my best time ever around Oulton Park yet still be 5+ seconds behind the career objectives.
Maybe I am just worse than I thought? I know I'm more inclined to "Sunday Drive" than push a car unless I'm actually trying, so maybe I just need to get better at finding the limit of my cars.
Or do I really just need to start Googling what cars go with what career hotlap missions?
