Normally playing through the career you simply can't progress and do all events.
Sadly the only way to play the game is with custom events and grind out credits that way.
Or to do the career events you already completed and have a car for over and over and over.
It's the worst credits and career system I have seen yet in any racing game.
Or do the daily challenges. I've only intentionally grinded once, just to see if what the others reported about running ovals to boost XP really worked. Other than that, just doing Career and daily challenges provided more than enough credits to buy whatever is required for Career and whatever I wanted to buy outside of Career.
But yes, if you stick to "Career only", you will be challenged with getting credits.
Daily rivals is useless. It only gives 10k XP which is not even enough to level up once and get any money.
I will look into the breakouts. I never pay much attention to them as I hate them. Nonsense like that don't really belong in a circuit racing game. But I will check one of the early level ones and see how much XP they give.
That is not exactly true. It does vary based on event type (i.e. breakouts offer quite a bit with little effort).
