I'm running a slightly different wheel (G27) and always need to run the 'old' version of Logitech Profiler (5.10) for any games to 'feel' right. I haven't had games not actually recognize my wheel at all... but it does make my wheel run correctly with games.
Just an idea, not sure if this relates to your issue. The old version of profiler isn't super to get, but is available if you seach (sorry, I don't have a link)
The game is really fun once you get all your settings dialed in. Good luck.
Happy racing.
I suppose I've tried to run with it already, isn't lgs510_x64 driver I mentioned in a topic a 5.10 version profiler? But anyway it only means I should try another version, maybe newer one would work, thanks for advise!
I believe Logitech replaced Profiler with LGS (Logitech Gaming Software). If LGS support your wheel, then that's what you want. For some reason Logitech didn't add support for some older wheels (like my G27), so you need Profiler. If that is the case, also make sure you get the 64bit version of Profiler - if my memory serves me, the Logitech website for Profiler download doesn't indicate version, or the '64 bit download link' points to the wrong version, there is definitely something odd about finding it.
I also always unplug my gamepads and such, to make sure that my wheel is the only game controller that windows sees before running games where I'm using my wheel. Multiple controllers seems to confuse some games... not sure if PC3 is one of them.
1. Open link: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024699474--Downloads-Driving-Force-GT
2. Click "Download Now".
3. Run The installer and complete the set-up.
4. Logitech Profiler will open. If it doesn't then search for "Logitech Gaming Software" in the windows search bar and run as administrator. (The wheel needs to be connected).
5. On the top left corner click "add a game" and browse. Select the executable file (.exe) of PC3.
6. Now, select the game from the Logitech profiler and it will launch the game.
7. You will realise that the controls work but you can drive just yet.
8. Open the settings in PC3 and go to the controls tab.
9. Select the brand of the steering wheel as "Logitech" and model as "Driving Force GT".
10. Load a race and then go back to settings to "wheel/driving force" tab (something like that). Calibrate the braking and accelerator pedals. Now you're good to go.
Cheers. Hope this made it simple.
