Road D Majors cars advise

i am just wondering what cars did you use for "Silver surfers" and "The 200 Triple"

Please advise what cars and mod you used?

i am having trouble getting all the trophies for these 2 tracks.

Hi, I was using the Toyota supra for the D series. The only trophy that I'm missing is the bugged one with a lap time of 58 seconds which I beated with 56 seconds.

I am using the Toyota Supra and struggling with the final goals for the two events you mentioned. Perhaps it's the upgrades I choose but I do find the car slides a little to much.

I'm not sure you can complete those very easily without using the Jaguar or the Aston. Some have said upgraded Road E cars are also better (so upgrade a Road E car to Road D).

the best lap time i had for the first one was 55'xxx with GTR34, Road E with tires upgrade, but then i f up the last lap. i know it's doable with GTR

but The 200 triple is nearly impossible with the cars i have. i can only get 1min 16second, still 3-4 seconds away.

i think i am losing too much time on the straights

Yeah I also find the supra incredibly slidey and unreliable on corners, what upgrades do you use for handling imrpovement that dont bump it into the next class thnx?

I did use weight reduction and a second engine block. The trick was to keep it clean and push the limits on some of the curbs. To get the top speed of 296km/h I used a different car to just only nail that one.

For my two cents; 288 GTO, Toyota GT86 or Honda Civic Type-R. Possibly Skyline R-34, I haven't tried a D-Class R34 yet but it's handling and power should make it a good choice. You could also have a lot of success with the Mustang 2+2 or the Alpine A110.

Cars to avoid are the Supra; it's just not a good chassis. For any class. The balance and suspension geometry are bad, and it's slower in a straight line than upgraded Class Es. Or the Alpine A110. And the Aston, which is fast in a straight line compared to the Native Class Es. But completely blitzed by upgraded Class Es.

i tried the 288GTO, that's the car i got for the 90's events. but that seems impossible.

Honestly I tried Road D races so many times, with so many different cars and mods, and it's a challenge and I barely got half the stars. Then I got to Road C, I win every race by MINUTES, smoke the hot laps first or second try. What a difference. Road D definitely needs to come down in difficulty.

Skyline with no assists is the most fun I've had on a racing game in a while.

What upgrades on the GTR? Mine is nowhere near that fast. I also hate how it slides even when it's stock at 270 hp and 3500lbs. Even on racing tires and completely stock otherwise. Makes no sense:/
