The sound of the cars does sound muted in this game. Maybe thats more realistic? I dont know. I know that when I get out of my car the engine sounds louder than when I am in it.

the overall sounds in the game is generally quieter than other games i play.

PC3 seems to follow in the same path as the F1 games. For both, I have to turn up my headset more for them. I doubt you'll see any future changes in this space. Just turn your sound up louder. ;)

Apparently there's a dynamic range setting, not sure what the default is but perhaps try one of the other modes. Presumably there will be a few other settings to tweak the balance.

yep, and all the volume sliders are default 80.
