While I have no insight into how PC3 came together, I'm sure they explored all options as they decided how things would work. IMO, it seems to work well for what their goals are. i.e. it's not expected to be able to earn money quickly and buy all the cars within a few days. They want people spending time and working at progressing so it feels like they earned something.
Thanks for the reply ill try it out
That's wrong. Fastest way without cheating is doing custom races on Mojave Coyote Moose. You can do up to 99 laps there, which will take you around 45 minutes. You can also do less laps. Use opponent class 'any'. You will use the Formula X car. After tha race you will get a huge load of XP, thus money.
If available buy the formula x car. This will give you much more XP compared to a borrowed car. This way I was like level 15 first evening after release. 99 laps gave me around 900k credits iirc.
Thanks for the tip, just made the game quite a bit more enjoyable.
I forgot to mention one thing: Drive with a full grid of opponents. The reason you make so many xp is the overtaking of other cars. If you race against 'any', you get mostly weaker cars to race against.
