game hasn't been out for 24 hrs yet
I think you'll see the numbers start going up as people figure out what it is or isn't. There is a large population that purchased PC1 thinking it was a grind & earn credits & buy cars title only to be disappointed. Those sales did not come back for PC2 as they knew what it was after their PC1 experience. Granted, at that time, there was no Forza on the PC but I think there are going to be a good number of people who migrate towards PC3 over the next 2-3 months.
Normally you can check number of players in a certain game using steamcharts.com but since the game is so new it's not on there yet. You can find the number of players however on steam using the community hub for that particular game.
of course I am playing more Pcars 2
Pcars 2 has been out for years, lots of people own it
Pcars 3 was just released, and it has not gone on sale yet
many people like me will buy it when it goes on sale
then the numbers will increase, don't be so impatient !
The all-time concurrent peak (which always comes during release day) for Project CARS 2 was 6,775, for Project CARS 3 it has been 1,218. That's staggeringly bad.
It seems like, unless we get the consoles sales figures saying otherwise, the gamble they took has not payed off.
On PC, comparably between all three games on release day, it has not. It has failed miserably.
Project CARS 1 and 2 had far more players on release day than 3 has had.
And let's not talk about the Metacritic and Opencritic reviews and averages, they're all lower than the first two games.
What were SMS thinking?
I almost picked this up having not seen the changes they made. Was hoping for a good remake for vr. But meh if you're going this route man may as well have had a fully open world with some street racing, then you woulda caught my interest lol.
I would buy the game now for full price
