We can't even test upgrading cars because the game is so stingy with money. 10 hours in and I'm only getting 9k per level up, it's pitiful.
These requirements need to change, the career mode needs to be able to be finished by most of the player base especially in the starting group modes.
the pace setter is sh~~~ 。。。 it
and no maney bey car.
i m project cars2 fans ,but the PC3 .....what mean?
the cerer is a singel game mode. but the pace setter is what?
If you're going to make Hot Lap times so tight, give us a preset car for the event like in Shift 2. Otherwise, if the hot lap is open to all cars, then at least make it so that even the worst car in the class is able to reasonably clock those times.
But as it is you have no idea what car is actually capable of hitting those times. So you have to buy cars at random and upgrade them to see if they are capable of going that fast. Rinse and repeat. That's not really hard, just time consuming.
What car did you use for the Road D ones. I could only get "silver" with an upgraded GT86.
I've been using Skyline for almost my entire career. I tried to improve it through turbo, but it didn't work well. After the tests, I improved its handling (improved the suspension to the maximum and reduced the weight as much as possible), and was able to complete all the tasks on the first attempt. In the car setup, I made a negative front toe ~ -0.3 and soften front ARB, otherwise there was too much understeer.
The version with improved handling was 1-2 seconds faster than the turbo version.
I tried with a Skyline without any luck, but I didn't spcifically upgrade it for hot laps. Do you still have the same upgrades, or is it different now?
I decided to keep it for D class.
Tyres: LVL 2
Brakes: LVL 2
Weight reduction: LVL 4
Air intake: LVL 3
Camshaft: LVL 2
Transmission: LVL 3
Suspension: LVL 4
Total: 399 PIR (If I didn't make a mistake anywhere, of course)
Setup
Front toe: -0.3
Rear toe: 0.1
Front ride height: 105
Rear ride height: 95
Front ARB: 75
Rear ARB: 40
I do not know if this will help you, but I like this setup very much, and I have no problems with it.
In E class, I remove the weight reduction, because I want to be able to adjust the suspension.
Thanks, I'll give it a try!
It was fast, but I still couldn't break 13 minutes. So I still only have silver in the Road D events...
