No, GRID 2019 is not better than this.

When GRID 2019 came out everyone lashed it for being content barren, and even after three "seasons", it still is. Only 16 cars on grid, no real career mode, and gamepad driving is not as good as PCars 3.

Meanwhile, PCars 3 has an actual career mode, you can have up to 32 cars on the grid, not to mention VR support. Yes there are problems galore, but you are being reactionary if you think GRID 2019 is better than this content-rich pack racer.

Uhm. I think Grid 2019 might have more than 16 cars. I know I've lashed it for not having enough content, but it's more like 40-50 IIRC. Base game. And maybe another 12 via DLC.

Honestly I was bored to tears with the new GRID.

It had reasonable graphics but something was missing.

It was I guess soulless and devoid of fun at least for me.

In truth I uninstalled it earlier today to play Grid 2 and had a blast.

For my 2c there's a place for both.

Variety is the spice of life and I really enjoy sims, Rfactor 2 is my personal fave. But you can't play one genre all the time, especially sims. They're quite time-consuming and not always compatible with my life even in a pandemic and lockdown. It's nice to have something I can click play, and be racing within literally 5 minutes and still have nuanced enough driving to enjoy myself. It's not a masterpiece, for sure, but it's casual-friendly fun and there's a place for that.

I cant see this being worse than GRID 2019,
GRID was OK, only grid title worth owning if you use a wheel
physics and force feedback were lacking, if PC3 is a bit more like PC2 it will be much better

I love this, the sliding and animation of driver grabbing wheel to fight the slide is awesome in rear cam and grid 2019 i spent maybe 70 hours and am not even onto the 2 seasons i bought yet. This looks equally as fun like driveclub. I love arcade racing when it's not too arcade like daytona or crazy taxi i like simcade.

If Project Cars 3 is a let down, then Grid 2019 is an complete disaster. The driving physics are the worst I've ever seen (even by arcade standards), it's like driving on rails most of the time, until you throttle a bit too much and your car spins, there is no car control at all (or barely). There is no car damage at all, the graphics are dodgy, career is repetitive and boring etc etc. Grid Autosport is a much better package.

what level you got to? have you played online games and which cars? i can't just get this. i must been playing a different game. not sure if you have unlocked all the tunes/upgrades and stuff but the more i get into the more sim is becoming but it's not hardcore sim in order to make the game "fun" to play.

May I mention something off topic? I like the fact that more and more threads are being posted with a positive opinion or at least with people using common sense. I am over 65 hours in, and PC 3 is a blast for me. It is sad to see good games suffer from an idiot fanbase. So thank you, guys.

I have a question, Greed launched on 07/10/19 for ult ed and 10/10/19 for basic but SteamDB and Steamcharts had player data from 07/10.
Pcars 3 has had NO DATA available till 22:00 GMT and when it DID appear only 344 players..
greed had 1,038 on 07/10.
What are SMS hiding??? Why withhold data all other games make available on day 1????
Could it be bad sales of the deluxe version being propped up by the base players????

The gaming community in general is full of clowns jumping on bandwagons (can't expect much from kids and manchildren), never take a seemingly popular opinion at face value, always look into it yourself.
