I for one am happy that this is what they did, we already have a great selection of really good sim titles, but very few really good arcade racers, ones that have good wheel support and proper force feedback, like you I also have more than a few cars I built myself, old american muscle cars, vintage sports cars, diesel trucks, and a lot of motorcycles, so I like games that feel real when driving in them, and I dont always want to do serious sim racing, often I just want to goof around, without getting tickets or dying, I hope PC3 goes on sale soon, (my real cars need real new tires, and that costs real money)
I don't think the game is the issue. It's the fact it's called Project Cars 3. The first Project Cars promised to encapsulate the spirit of competitive racing in a way never before achieved, (I still have the beautiful, metal-boxed deluxe edition). It fell short of that amazing aspiration, and Project Cars 2 worked to bring that dream into reality. It also fell short, but surely Project Cars 3 would achieve that goal of sim racing perfection...
That's where the community's mindset is. No amount of rationalisation will change anyone's mind here.
Call it Shift 3, or Project Shift, and you'd be in business.
The career mode makes fun. Driving the rival challenges is fun.
Despite of the things I realy don't like about PCars3 it makes fun and I will play it. Hopefully the community will grow so we will have good multiplayer games.
The graffics are a down grade from PC2
the driving physics are set for game pad console users, so unless you are into Shift , forza, NFS games then this ISNT for you.
Dont listen to this clown where he rates his experiance to GT LMAO....
After PC1 and PC2 wich feel way short of thier intended mark, i should know i was a backer , and tested PC1 for years before it was murdered before release should kinda know what IM on about!!!
go back to your Simcade titles in your games folder.
Not sure why my post triggered you get your caps all sticky. I have an idea, I have an opinion and I gladly share it, positively. It's just a game, I respect that you are part of the herd that don't like it, I'm sorry you aren't having the same fun that I am. Best of luck with whatever game you do enjoy!
Drops mic
Now they've gone full circle with PCars 3 which is basically another Need For Speed game without all the cheesy Fast and Furious awfulness.
Not saying it's a bad game, I enjoyed playing it, but it's not even close to being a realistic racing simulator.
You do realize that pCARS1 was not on Steam until after years of community development, right? I'm actually pretty sure that by the time you could even get it on Steam, community funding of it had already ceased. This isn't the mic drop you think it is....
