Exit to the main menu just to make adjustments to graphics?

Although it isn't common to make performance and graphics adjustments often, it's super annoying to be forced to exit to the main menu every time to optimize the graphic settings. I get it if you have to restart due to shader loading similar to PCars 1 and 2, but none of that is relevant here.

Lots of QOL issues in the game. Menu scrolling through cars, tracks, mods within reach is another inefficiency. Overall menu experience requires a lot of work here.

And the fact you can't even reach them till after you're forced to race and buy a car really means your "first impressions" of the games are probably not gonna be very good since the out of the box setup (graphics and wheel support) is questionable with low textures and very low force feedback.

Exactly this! I'm hoping a post launch patch is coming, but that seems low on the totem pole. They really need to fix the hot lapping and custom racing, this is where PCars has always shined.

At least you can do that. I can't even find an exit button or menu button. Someone said in the upper corner there is an X button. Where?! I can't find any X button. It's really, really annoying me now. I can't exit the game normally and I can't change any settings because I can't get to a menu.

You can skip the initial tutorial. I did.

Finally got it. Never got an X at the top. However I had to go forward into the game quite a bit before I could get to a point where menu's and exit would come up.
