Support for TRUEFORCE force feedback technique ?
Hi.

I just ordered the new Logitech G923 racing wheel.
It features the so called force feedback "Trueforce".

A question to the Devs or somebody who knows:

Will there be a chance that project Cars 3 will support this special force feedback
in any future updates or patch ?

Thanks

It's just a buzzword for marketing. PC3 comes with SUPADUPA3000 support.

whoever drives with racing wheels should have a little idea ...

b.t.w.: Assetto Corsa Comp. & grid 19 are supporting it . Why ? ;-)

Nobody seems to be explaining anywhere how Trueforce differs from standard Force Feedback, so what exactly is it thats being supported thats different from any other FFB or DD wheel?

OK. I can´t tell you how it exactly feels under your hands ingame,
the wheel will be available in some days. I don´t know ! :)
I play with controller and my older racing wheel , but wanted something new, and just found this as interesting...

There are a few informations.

example:

I just wanted to know IF PC3 is planning to add this support in the future...

@vikingkombat: Yes, ok, is there an official information for it ?

@all

OK I see,
Logitech is seen as only a toy , real SIM racers are using Fanatec or similar.
I can imagine this will be a lot better ! (there are houndreds of videos and reviews, I can see and I know.) maybe it was a mistake ordering it. maybe not. We will see.
The G92 was not bad at all , some (SIM racers) said it is fun to drive it with low costs.

I´m driving my real car every day for many hours. 1 or 2 hours a week i will find time to drive race just for fun at my pc and I ordered the g923 because I did not own the G92 before and , yes, maybe because of lower price (400 vs 1000+) and some "good" marketing tricks or words .
Let´s see how it will work and if I can drive it without thinking "oh man, I give it to my 2 kids because I think I need a Fanatec toy for real man" or I think "better than my controller or my 10 years old real toy racing wheel "

:-) have a nice time and: let´s hope PROJECT CARS 3 will be okey .
What´s with the best racing wheel if the game (sim) is rubbish or bad and only marketing hype ?

(sorry for my bad english)

Hi! So, what's your experience with g923 after all, are you happy with it?

Hi there. Yes I am happy with the G923 wheel, the pedals are good and solid quality, especially the brake pedal works excellent. It is a nice high end toy- for the fun on weekend okey !
The Trueforce support I could test by playing Grid (2019) . It is something special if you can feel the vibration of the motor engine and "the street". But nothing can beat real driving ;-)))

"Trueforce" is just a marketing gimmick.
It's the same wheel that Logitech has been making for 12 years, just with a new look.

Logitech wheels are used as stepping stones to better wheels from Fanatec or OSW or Accuforce. It's the most affordable way to start and then graduate from later.

... unfortunately, the fastening screws (to fix the wheel at the table) do not make a very trustworthy impression on me, plastic garbage :-(

b.t.w.: PC3 is not a SIM racer anymore. (I got 1 & 2 to compare) and I think the AI opponents are very stupid and much too aggresive ! But I like it anyway. makes fun to drive and unlock more classes and tuning the car...
