Arena Scores in the 700,000s?

Okay, I understand that Arena is based on high score. Now my six month old account isn't exactly a free-to-play slouch; I have 4 girls with birthday suits, but somewhere in the ~158,000 is the highest I've managed to get it, after just letting it randomly do its thing with the most powerful suits I had on hand.

So with my kind of score, I'm consistently in the ~1,000 - 5,000 range.

A couple of days ago, I came to revelation that it's important to have a Fierce Yell girl and a super-powered captain who does all the actual scoring. So I readjusted everything, but even then, I'm not seeing a major difference in my score. Makes me wonder more about what the top arena guys are doing that I'm not.

To give you a reference point, I only have 2 bday suits, have invested nothing into upgrading bromides, and don't do any managing other than setting attacker and spike/feint, yet my weekly high score ends up being in the 230k to 280k range. Even my backup account, which has only free-to-play suits and is managed with minimum possible effort, usually ends up around 180k.

My guess is the difference is I have higher level girls with a more complete set of upgraded potentials. I don't think there's been enough rock climbing events in the past 6 months to set up 6 girls with a full suite of upgraded potentials, nor enough PVP events to buy them all 2 SSR Accessories.

The gap between me and the 500k+ crowd I'm pretty sure comes down to bromides. I refuse to spend vstones on them, I think that makes no sense. I'm not here to win RNG volleyball matches, I'm here to look at pretty girls in swimsuits. Even if I won a bromide that pushed me a tier higher, finishing a tier higher only gets me 100 more vstones per week, so I'd need to do that for an entire year to earn back the 5000 i spent on a single draw attempt in a bromide gacha. No thanks, I'll spend my vstones on new outfits to look at the girls in.

as a f2p i'm using three offensive fierce yell suits (missing a fourth one for kasumi) since my designated attacker almost never attacks. my third team is random. i consistently score between 180 and 190k. bromides are all at lvl 1 still.

sorry to break it out to you, whales here do both on the oils bromides and ofc birthday suits (not the nude ones pietato meant for)
True whales have oils upgraded all STA potential in their suit and overkill bromides. Tactical attacking defense helps too

I'll be honest, I'm a whale. I've spent a lot of money on this game and I do have a full squad of 6 girls all in maxed BDay suits. Not all fully equipped with SSR Accessories but about half of them are.

I still don't do that well in Arena, you gotta be a mega whale. TBH I hate playing Arena, I don't pay that much attention to it. The rewards are solid but not good enough for the gray hairs or shift of resources. I just play for the dailies and pretend the rest are just a bonus.

I have tried to min/max the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, but it is just pointless and random. I can barely break 300k.

Oh and I also feel obligated to do it to get the vstones, even though it sucks.

Im reading this and Im ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shocked. I play, with breaks, since this game is on Steam (around end of 2019). I remember only basic girls and Im struggling to reach 100k points. I only launch the match, I dont manage at all but some of you do that as well and you get 180k? Im F2P, is this game so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ P2W, that you get more or I dont know. I have awakened suits, 24/27% unlocked potentials for almost all girls. Whats the issue I dont know.

i'm guessing you refer to me with the 180k? if yes, then the thing is that i've been playing since the 4th week (mid april 2019). so i guess i just have more resources as f2p?
like you, i also use 24 and 27 % potentials (one girl in my third team still uses crappy 5/6 % potentials). and although i never bothered to upgrade the bromides, they still have decent activation chance and attack power (wasted a good number of v stones on some bromide gachas).
and i don't get 180k every match since my girls do random ♥♥♥♥ most of the time, but when i win all three matches, it's usually in that range.

If you play all the time of that time, you have much more play time as F2P, because Ive had an year or more of brake. But still, even once a week that 180k points and you are one tier higher than I am. But I dont get, where is the problem. In the suits im using or... I dont know.

i mean, if you don't manage at all (not even setting the attacker, the attack target and the attack method), then your scores will be very low.

You should have 3 teams of Ace (Sweet Feint/Killer Spike) and fierce yell girl.

e.g Ayane wearing Sweet Feint suit with Tsuki wearing Fierce Yell suit.

Ayane is set to attacker, you set them to Feint, and you target the opposition girl who either has no -tec on defense, or their weakest tec girl.

Ayane would have all stamina potentials (and fairy feint if you have it), and all ATTACKING ONLY tec bromides. When you get advanced enough (through time or $$$$) you can pile on tec defense and -pow stuff onto Tsuki.

Doing this for all 3 teams is very Xtreme, though, and I only have 1 set up moderately close. But you should be able to at least do the basic Ace/Fierce Yell combo.

Also, if you hate the arena, just set the girls' strategy up once and then auto through all 5 matches. They remember the commands from match to match, so they will at least attack and defend properly (unless they are skere's Fiona, who punishes him for being incredibly shallow and only going for her looks).
