My game is dark when I hit play!

I can see hit A to start but no surfer or anything.

Sorry that is happening. I have reported it to Steam admin to see if they have a fix, but meanwhile this hack should work. Go to Search For Surf in your Library. Right click on Search For Surf. Click on Properties. Click on Betas. Click on the button next to Beta Participation. Choose Test - Alternative to default. X out of the box that's open. This should load a similar version that works, and after that you can switch back the same way, and the regular version should work. There is some conflict with copying files where steam stores them and this happens intermittently. Let me know if this doesn't fix it or if you have other problems.
